A friendly half marathon, now in its 14th year, which remains relatively small and exclusive due to its island location.
The event is deliberately timed for the end of the season when most other island races have taken place. The half marathon route starts on the Isle of Berneray, off the north cost of North Uist, near the Gatliff Trust Hostel, it crosses a causeway to North Uist and finishes in Lochmaddy at the Lochmaddy Hotel - who are the event sponsors.
