Round-The-Clock Running

Equinox24 offers runners a unique experience that will stay with you long after the final lap...

The Equinox24 returns to the majestic grounds of Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire on the weekend of 20–21 September, offering runners of all abilities the chance to push their limits across 24 hours of non-stop trail running.

The event centres on a 10K mixed-terrain loop that winds through the stunning Belvoir Castle Estate. With its ever-changing scenery of lakes, wooded sections, open fields and hill climbs, the route provides both a physical challenge and a visual feast. Organisers say: "From the illuminated castle at night to the early morning mist rising over the fields, runners are treated to breathtaking views that evolve throughout the day and night."

Starting at midday on Saturday, the 24-hour event invites solo entrants and relay teams to complete as many laps as they can before the clock strikes noon on Sunday. It’s an exhilarating test of stamina and strategy, but also one that welcomes runners of all levels. Whether your goal is a single lap or a record-breaking 21 laps solo, every achievement is celebrated at Equinox24.

Complementing the 24-hour race are the Day and Night 10K events, giving participants a taste of the main course’s magic without the commitment of a full day’s running.

The event village will be buzzing with activity, offering hot food, drinks, merchandise and entertainment. There’s camping on-site with hot showers and plenty of space to relax between runs. Families are warmly welcomed, with a kids’ fun run ensuring younger participants can join in the excitement too.

Final word with the organisers: "What makes Equinox24 stand out is not just its challenging course or the stunning location, but the unwavering support of the running community it draws together. From the cheering spectators to the runners powering through lap after lap, the atmosphere is inclusive, inspiring and unforgettable."
