Culzean Sells Out!
Spring is the perfect season to take to the trails...
Time has now run out for runners keen to take part in this year's Culzean Castle Trail Runs as the popular event returns to Culzean Castle and Country Park on 1 March.
Now in its third year at the Ayrshire estate near Ayr, the event offers 5K, 10K and half marathon distances across a dramatic coastal landscape of woodland paths, gardens and shoreline trails. The runs take place within the 642 acre country park, providing participants with sweeping sea views and a unique setting beneath the clifftop castle designed by Robert Adam in the late 18th century.
But don't be too disapppointed, organisers - Wild Deer Events, have another Scottish event scheduled for later in the spring with places still available! The Scone Palace Trail Runs will return on 26 April once again offering 5 and 10K options that are suitable for all fitness levels and perfect for first timers!
Those signing up will get to enjoy a scenic run through the palace grounds, with the 10K route also including a lap of Perth Racecourse. This is a fantastic opportunity to run in one of Scotland’s most historic and beautiful settings.
