The Auchterarder Running Festival returns this autumn, with the Auchterarder Half Marathon once again taking centre stage. Bringing runners to the heart of Perthshire, the event combines a scenic Scottish Athletics measured course with a welcoming community atmosphere that has made it a firm favourite on the Scottish racing calendar.

Starting and finishing at The Community School of Auchterarder, the route takes runners on a tour of the town before heading into the surrounding Perthshire countryside. The accurately measured Half Marathon offers an enjoyable mix of town and rural roads, with the picturesque setting providing a memorable backdrop from start to finish.

Highland Spring water stations will keep runners hydrated along the course, while Perfect Timing Scotland will provide chip timing and results. Every finisher will receive a bespoke Auchterarder Half Marathon medal and a quality technical event T shirt, with friends and family able to welcome runners home in the dedicated finish area.

While the Half Marathon is the showpiece event, it also forms part of the wider Auchterarder Running Festival, creating a fantastic occasion for runners, volunteers and spectators alike. The friendly atmosphere and strong local support have become hallmarks of the festival, making it an attractive option for both experienced Half Marathon runners and those stepping up to the distance for the first time.
