The Eyemouth Twilight 5K returns on Friday 28 August 2026, bringing runners back to the picturesque Scottish Borders fishing town for an evening of racing by the sea. Organised by Eyemouth Development Trust, the event combines a certified 5K with Scott's Mini Fun Runs, creating a welcoming occasion for experienced runners, families and first timers alike.

The accurately measured 5K starts and finishes on Harbour Road outside Giacopazzi's Gelato before taking runners through the town, around the golf course and along Eyemouth's distinctive waterfront. Scottish Athletics course certification and chip timing provide an accurate and fair race experience, making the event equally appealing to runners chasing a personal best or simply enjoying the occasion.

The evening begins with Scott's Mini Fun Runs for children aged one to eleven, with races starting from 6.30pm before the main 5K gets underway at 8.00pm. Every participant receives a goody bag and a complimentary Giacopazzi's ice cream, while prize giving follows later in the evening after the final finishers have crossed the line.

The route combines coastal scenery with enthusiastic local support and a professionally managed race environment.
