The Aberdeen Marathon is a summer road running festival in the heart of Aberdeen, featuring a Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K. Following the successful introduction of the City of Aberdeen Half Marathon, the event has expanded into a full marathon weekend, welcoming runners of all abilities to Scotland's Granite City with a choice of distances and a vibrant city centre atmosphere.
The road courses start and finish close to Marischal College before showcasing many of Aberdeen's best known landmarks. Runners experience a mix of lively city streets, the banks of the River Dee, Aberdeen Beach, the historic Port of Aberdeen and the University of Aberdeen. Fast routes, coastal scenery and naturally cool summer conditions create excellent opportunities for enjoyable racing and personal best performances.
