Worthing RUN-FEST promo 2026

Let's Get The Worthing Party Started

Decade-Old ‘Yeomans Toyota’ Worthing RUN-FEST returns in style this weekend...

The lively Sussex seaside town of Worthing is gearing up to host the 10th-anniversary ‘Yeomans Toyota’ Worthing RUN-FEST on Sunday, 3rd May 2026, with record numbers of participants and supporters expected.

Excitement is building as entries are close to capacity. Both the Worthing RUN-FEST Half Marathon and the Worthing RUN-FEST 10K were 95% full at the time of writing. An estimated 4,000+ runners are set to take to Worthing’s fully-closed roads in what promises to be the largest RUN-FEST in its ten-year history. The event is also on track to become Worthing’s biggest one-day fundraiser, further cementing its place as a highlight of the town’s annual events calendar.

All races will start and finish at Beach House Grounds, which will also host a free public music after-party, headlined by English electronica vocalist and songwriter, Katherine Ellis, who has worked extensively across the global dance music scene and is renowned for her engaging, high-energy vocals – just what you need to recharge the batteries after racing Worthing RUN-FEST!

All finishers will receive a commemorative tech T-shirt and bottle opener medal – perfect for a well-earned post-race celebration. The event isn’t just for seasoned runners. In partnership with local hospice charity St Barnabas House, RUN-FEST will once again host the Family Mile – a relaxed, non-competitive event open to all ages and abilities. Every participant will receive a medal and finish-line goodies, making it an enjoyable and inclusive family day out.

Last year's Worthing RUN-FEST – reviewed here at runABC South – saw almost 3,500 finishers across the three-race format. The Worthing RUN-FEST Half Marathon champions were James Baker (M45 Chichester Runners AC, 1:11:44) – who successfully defended his title – and Kate Drew (Brighton Phoenix, 1:19:36).

The Worthing RUN-FEST 10K was won by Simon Heath (Brighton Phoenix, 31:43) and Laura Smith (Brighton Phoenix, 36:11). More than 300 runners took on the Worthing Family Mile, won by Findlay Jones (5:42) and Esme Shaw (6:34).
