The Stopsley Trail Race is organised by Stopsley Striders and takes place from Inspire: Luton Sports Village. Featuring 5K, 5 Mile and 10 Mile races, the event welcomes runners of all abilities to enjoy a friendly summer trail running experience through the countryside on the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire border.
The predominantly off road routes follow a mixture of trails, footpaths and natural surfaces, taking runners through rolling countryside with scenic views across the surrounding landscape. The 5K provides an accessible introduction to trail running, while the 5 Mile and 10 Mile routes offer progressively greater challenges, with the longest distance featuring sustained undulating terrain and rewarding countryside scenery.
Chip timing, bespoke finisher medals, free race photography and excellent runner facilities help create an enjoyable race day experience. With a welcoming atmosphere, well organised courses and a choice of distances, the Stopsley Trail Race has become a popular summer fixture for trail runners across the region.
