Nightingale House 10K & 5K

Run For Nightingale House

Head to Wales for a charity event with a great course and races for all...

Runners of all ages and abilities across North Wales and beyond are being invited to take part in the Nightingale House 10K and 5K on 18 April, with the charity event set to take place at Alyn Waters Country Park in Wrexham.

Starting from the Llay side of the park, the event will feature 5K and 10K races along a scenic multi terrain route, alongside a children’s 1K dash designed to make the day accessible for families. The course winds through woodland and parkland on a mix of paths and gentle inclines, with clearly marked routes and marshals supporting runners throughout 10K participants completing two laps of the 5K circuit.

Organisers say: "Our charity event is open to everyone, from those chasing a personal best to participants taking part for fun or fundraising - everyone is welcome to enjoy the day with us.

"All proceeds from the event will support patient care and services at Nightingale House Hospice so please take part and raise sponsorship to help fund vital support for patients and families throughout North Wales and the surrounding communities."

Finishers will receive a bespoke medal and post race refreshments, with entertainment and stalls planned to create a lively atmosphere at the park.
