10K Returns To Lochore In 2025
This popular Fife race is back after a year's absence...
The Lochore 10K will return to the stunning setting of Lochore Meadows Country Park on 12 October 2025 after a year’s absence. Organisers are looking forward to welcoming runners back to this popular late-season race, which has become a firm fixture in Fife’s running calendar.
The route offers a generally flat and fast challenge, with two laps around the loch on hard-packed trails and paths, plus a short stretch on road within the park. Chip timing will ensure accurate results, and every finisher will be rewarded with a commemorative medal.
Lochore Meadows Country Park provides a spectacular backdrop for the race. With over 1,200 acres of open space, woodland, and water to explore, it is a fantastic location for runners and supporters alike. The park centre, play area and lochside setting make it an ideal day out for families, while opportunities for walking, cycling, paddling, fishing, birdwatching, and even barbecues make it a destination worth lingering in after the race.
Organisers say they love seeing a mix of familiar faces and newcomers at the start line each year and are encouraging both regulars and first timers to sign up for 2025. With its combination of speed, scenery and family-friendly atmosphere, the Lochore 10K promises to be a highlight of the autumn running season in Scotland.
