Entries Open For Yorkshire Coast 10K!
Standout 10K returns to Scarborough’s seafront this autumn...
Runners are being invited to sign up for one of the most scenic races on the calendar as entries open for the McCain Yorkshire Coast 10K. Taking place on 19 October, the event offers a stunning seafront course in Scarborough and is expected to attract thousands of runners once again.
Now in its 15th year, the race enters an exciting new chapter as it joins the Run For All portfolio. In partnership with Scarborough Athletics Club, the 2025 event will retain the much-loved character of previous years while introducing enhancements aimed at improving the overall experience for participants and spectators alike.
Tristan Batley-Kyle of Run For All, said: “We’re proud to be delivering the McCain Yorkshire Coast 10K and continuing the great work that has made it such a well-loved event over the years. Our aim is to honour its heritage and deliver the event in ways that are familiar to previous participants, and which are accountable for the event’s continued success and popularity.”
The coastal course promises a memorable race-day experience, whether participants are chasing a personal best, running for a chosen charity or taking part for the first time. In keeping with the event’s sustainable values, every runner will receive a slate medal and a tree will be planted on their behalf, thanks to a continued partnership with McCain Foods.
Run For All and Scarborough Athletics Club are encouraging runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities and ages to take part, reinforcing their goal of making the event inclusive and accessible. Charitable fundraising remains a central focus, with participants urged to support a cause of their choice or one of the event’s partner charities.
