Deal Tri Dinosaur 10K

Deal Tri Dinosaur 10K is a 10K road race organised by Deal Tri, starting and finishing on Deal seafront near the 2nd Deal Sea Scout Hut. The certified course follows an out and back route through Walmer before climbing gently around the village of Kingsdown and returning to the seafront for a fast finish.

Held under UK Athletics rules, the race features chip timing, fully marshalled roads, water stations and prizes across a range of age categories. The event is named in memory of Deal Tri co founder Roger Francis Darby, with proceeds supporting the Canterbury Hospital Skin and Dermatology Department and the Deal, Walmer and Kingsdown Regatta Association.

The course combines coastal views with quiet country roads, offering a varied challenge before a flat closing section along the seafront. As one of Kent's longest established 10K races, Deal Tri Dinosaur 10K continues to attract runners looking for a well organised summer event in a distinctive seaside setting.
