Club runners from the north west will be gearing up for the Wyre 10K Clubs Challenge, set to take place at Marine Hall, Fleetwood, on 8 June. This thrilling event invites both affiliated and non-affiliated clubs to showcase their team unity and competitive spirit on a flat, fast course that is perfect for setting personal bests.
Designed to test both endurance and teamwork, the challenge features a men’s team category with eight runners per team, while the women’s competition is a five-person team. The event is primarily a team-based competition but individual entries are also welcome, ensuring that runners of all backgrounds can take part in the excitement.
In addition to the prestige of being crowned champions, winners will receive a variety of prizes, including wine, beer, running attire and more. There’s even a surprise prize for clubs that enter two or more teams, adding an extra layer of incentive for clubs to bring their best.
