The Worcester Ring Run is a scenic 23 mile challenge that takes runners on a clockwise circuit around Worcester and Droitwich using a network of riverside paths and canalside trails. Starting and finishing at Gheluvelt Park in Worcester, the route follows the River Severn, the Droitwich Canal and the Worcester & Birmingham Canal before returning to the city via Diglis Bridge and Pitchcroft.
Predominantly traffic free, the course combines well maintained towpaths, riverside trails and a small amount of quiet road running, creating an enjoyable and accessible long distance challenge. Runners can complete the full route individually or share the experience as a two person relay, with the changeover taking place at Droitwich.
Fully marshalled and signposted, the event includes well stocked checkpoints, professional race timing, finisher rewards and category prizes. Whether tackling the full 23 mile route or competing as a relay team, the Worcester Ring Run offers a memorable day of endurance running through the heart of Worcestershire.
