Big Cow Events' Wildwood Trail Series features half marathon and 10K races through some of the country’s most breathtaking forests including Epping Forest, Delamere Forest, Cannock Chase and Moors Valley - each of these stunning locations offer a memorable off-road running experience.

For runners in The Midlands, the Cannock Chase Wildwood Trail Series is set for 22 March and promises a thrilling test of endurance. Located just north of Birmingham, Cannock Chase Forest provides the perfect setting for runners of all levels.

Participants can choose between the Half Marathon and 10K routes, each winding through lush woodlands, diverse forest habitats and challenging terrain. The course features a mix of marked and unmarked trails, steep inclines, muddy sections and even the chance to spot local wildlife, including deer and birds of prey.

Runners can expect a well-organised event with fully marked routes, enthusiastic marshals, water stations and a lively race-day atmosphere. Finishers will be rewarded with an epic medal, race-day photos and post-run treats. Canicross participants are also welcome, allowing runners to enjoy the race alongside their four-legged companions.

For those looking to be part of the action without running, the event is also seeking volunteers to support the race. Volunteers will receive exclusive perks, including free entry to a future BCS event, an official Wildwood Trail Series T-shirt and free parking.
