Take 20, Take 10, Take 5
Northamptonshire event returns in March and once again offers three distances to choose from...
Runners will once again take to the stunning Northamptonshire countryside as the Oundle 20 Mile returns on 2 March. Following the overwhelming success of last year’s event, 10K and 5K races will return for a second year, offering something for runners of all distances and abilities.
The Oundle 20 is the perfect race for those training for a spring marathon, offering a well-measured challenge on quiet rural roads. Set in the historic market town of Oundle, this undulating course winds through scenic country lanes, passing through charming villages such as Fotheringay, King’s Cliffe, Nassington, and Yarwell.
The race starts with a downhill section before taking runners on a series of gentle climbs and descents, with well-stocked aid stations ensuring everyone stays fuelled throughout. The finish line awaits back at Oundle School, where runners will be greeted with a warm welcome.
The Oundle running community has once again stepped up to help make the event possible, but volunteers are still needed. Whether you’re racing or supporting, the day promises a fantastic atmosphere and a great experience for all.
All finishers will receive a bespoke medal, free race photographs and prizes will be awarded to top performers. With stunning countryside scenery and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, this is an event not to be missed.
