Wargrave 10K

The Wargrave 10K is organised by Wargrave & Twyford Runners in partnership with Barnes Fitness and has been a popular community running event for more than four decades. The event combines a professionally organised 10K with a family friendly 1 Mile Fun Run, raising funds for local charities while welcoming runners of all abilities.

The accurately measured 10K starts and finishes on Wargrave Recreation Ground before following undulating country lanes and residential streets through the picturesque Berkshire village. The varied route provides an enjoyable challenge for experienced runners while remaining accessible to those taking on their first 10K. The 1 Mile Fun Run gives younger runners the opportunity to join the day's celebrations on an off road course within the recreation ground.

The event features chip timing, a well organised race village, refreshments, changing facilities and enthusiastic local support throughout. Its combination of scenic countryside, strong community spirit and charitable fundraising has established the Wargrave 10K as one of Berkshire's best known summer road races.
