The Thurlby 10K is organised by the Thurlby Runs Committee and takes place from Lawrance Park in Thurlby, Lincolnshire. Alongside the 10K, the event also includes a 3K Fun Run, with proceeds supporting local youth groups and community organisations.
The UKA licensed road race follows a scenic route through the villages of Thurlby, Manthorpe, Wilsthorpe and Obthorpe. After an early climb up Swallow Hill, the course continues along quiet country roads before returning to Thurlby, offering a more testing route than the surrounding landscape might suggest.
The race is held under UKA Rules with chip timing, marshals, water stations and secure baggage facilities helping to provide a well organised event. All finishers receive a commemorative medal, while refreshments at Lawrance Park and a friendly village atmosphere make this a popular fixture on the Lincolnshire running calendar.
