The first 1.3 mile is undulating along a narrow country lane. Immediately after the first left hand turn, there is a short steep climb passing a dairy farm. This road is slightly wider and is roughly 1.8 miles long. After the 2nd left hand turn, the route is flat followed by a long downhill stretch to the finish. All miles are marked.
