The 51st BMW Berlin Marathon will return to the world's fastest marathon course – 13 world records and counting – on Sunday, 21 September 2025, giving you nine weeks to top up your training before you join around 55,000 runners at the famous Brandenburg Gate finish line.

Berlin is one of the original Abbott World Marathon Majors Six Star races, along with Tokyo, Boston, London, Chicago, and New York. The leading Brits were Norman Shreeve (Cambridge & Coleridge AC, 2:17:13) and Calli Hauger-Thackery (Hallamshire Harriers, 2:21:24 PB).
