Guys & Gals Head To Glasgow
Join a strong, supportive community at these 'his and hers' 10K races...
Make a positive difference to your life, or someone else’s and be part of something special this June. The Men's 10K Glasgow will once again take place on Father’s Day which this year falls on Sunday 15 June. The event has a proud history of helping thousands of men on their journey to becoming fitter, healthier and happier.
Organisers say: "Maybe you’ve not done any exercise in a while and need a goal to motivate you, maybe you want to challenge your mates, or maybe you want to raise some cash for a worthwhile cause – whatever your reason, the Men’s 10K is the perfect opportunity for you to lace up those trainers and make a difference, either to your own life or someone else’s."
But it isn't just the guys who can race on 15 June - the Women's 10K Glasgow will take place on the same day, with the same beautiful route on offer. Both races start at the spectacular setting of the Riverside Transport Museum, then head along the River Clyde, taking in Glasgow’s scenic views, before finishing in George Square.
Organisers say: "Far more than just a 10K – the Women’s 10K is a proactive, challenging way to engage women in physical activity and promote health and well-being all year round."
There are plenty of reasons to take part in these 10K races, whether you join in for the stunning city centre route, strong and supportive community or the fact it is a fantastic way to raise money for a charity you care about. But whatever your reason the fact remains that this is a perfect opportunity to lace up those trainers and make a difference, either to your own life or someone else’s.
