Fyfield Footpath 5K & 10K
A 5K and 10K event on footpaths and private estate roads in the glorious Essex countryside that welcomes experienced runners and beginners. Organised to support our local Scouts.

Returning the the picturesque countryside of Essex, the Fyfield 5K and 10K provide an amazing opportunity to take on the great outdoors, and it's all in a good cause. Launched in 2018, and held each year (even during gaps in lockdown) the event has drawn a growing number of runners each year and has become a staple of the season for serious runners and local families alike. Our ethos that you can Walk-Jog-Run continues to appeal to a range of abilities. The format allows the field to spread early whilst on the sports field - giving each participant the opportunity to take on the course at their own pace from the outset.
The Fyfield 5K takes place almost entirely off road, making use of a short section of pavement close to the end. The race starts at 10:00, and participants of all ages and speeds can take part.
The Fyfield 10K kicks off at 09:40, the 5K route extended with a gentle climb on private roads and farm tracks, because of this we encourage participants over 15 to take part. A notable feature is that the route is one loop, there are no repeats.
