Now that making plans is ‘allowed’ again, how about a November mini-break to the Lake District? As luck would have it, tickets have just been released for Kendal Mountain Festival's Trail Blaze Weekend package (18-20 November).

Whether you are travelling with friends, partners, or flying solo, the package is perfect for running enthusiasts who want to take on the challenge of the Adidas Terrex 10K run, be inspired by like-minded athletes and enjoy the Festival’s famous afterparties. 

Taking place around Kendal on 19 November, the 10K is a classic trail run with lots of great ascents, jaw dropping views, some hard packed and grassy trails and a fast town centre finish! 
 
The Kendal Mountain Festival itself, is a four day long event dedicated to sharing awe-inspiring, life-affirming stories from the world of outdoor adventure. Organisers promise to ‘take you on a journey to the wildest reaches of the globe through film, literature, speaker events, music, art, dance and parties’.

In 2021 the event is going hybrid. The live in-person Festival will return with an incredible line-up and exciting new basecamp village. Alongside this, organisers will be recording key events to share with audiences across the globe through the new Kendal Mountain Player. 

The Trail Blaze Weekend package includes two nights accommodation at the Riverside Hotel on a B&B basis, entry into the 10K Trail Run, tickets for the Festival Running Session and party tickets for Saturday.
