The EFR 5K Pride Run is organised by Edinburgh Frontrunners and takes place on the eve of Edinburgh Pride, bringing runners together for a welcoming and inclusive celebration of running and community. Open to all abilities, the event combines a fun atmosphere with one of Edinburgh's most scenic running locations.

The accurately measured 5K follows a single lap of Holyrood Park, passing landmarks including Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Palace while offering panoramic views across Edinburgh and towards the coast. The paved route features a sustained climb in the opening stages before a rewarding downhill section leads runners back towards the finish.

Although organised as a non competitive fun run, all participants are timed and can still chase a personal best on the certified 5K course. With its inclusive spirit, scenic surroundings and place within Edinburgh Pride weekend, the EFR 5K Pride Run offers a memorable summer evening event in the heart of the city.
