This full marathon route covers some of Chester’s iconic landmarks and stunning cityscapes, including a glimpse of the UK’s second most photographed clock after Big Ben. The fast and character-filled route also winds through some of the beautiful rolling Cheshire Countryside and into North Wales. Adding to its prestige, the 2025 MBNA Chester Marathon serves as the host of the England Age Group Athletics Championships and is a qualifier for the Abbott World Majors, making it a highlight of the racing calendar.
