The Cawthorne Canter is organised by Barnsley Harriers and is the final race in the three race Howesy’s Harriers’ Hat Trick series. Held from Cawthorne, the event follows the Silkstone Shuffle and Higham Hurtle, contributing to the overall series standings.
The approximately 5M course follows scenic trails through the countryside around Cawthorne. The route includes woodland paths, fields and rolling terrain, providing a varied off road challenge with a mix of runnable sections and testing climbs.
