The Bristol Sri Chinmoy Summer Series Relay is the concluding event of the popular Bristol Sri Chinmoy Summer Series, held in Eastville Park. Teams of three runners each complete one mile on the accurately measured Sri Chinmoy Peace Mile, bringing the summer series to an exciting close with a unique relay format.
The course follows the established one mile loop around Eastville Park, using smooth tarmac paths shaded by mature trees. Fast underfoot conditions and gentle undulations create an enjoyable race for club teams, social groups and competitive runners alike, with each team member completing a single lap before handing over to the next runner.
The relay features chip timing, a fully marshalled course and prizes as part of the overall Bristol Sri Chinmoy Summer Series. Combining friendly competition, teamwork and a well established parkland course, the relay provides a memorable finale to Bristol's annual summer evening race series.
