2025 will see the launch of Super Saturday at the ever popular AJ Bell Great Bristol Run and this one’s all about the kids. Next year’s Super Saturday will take place 10 May as a standalone Junior & Mini event. That’s right, the family event has a new format giving all the younger runners the chance to take centre stage before the main event the following day.

A new route will take in some of Bristol’s famous landmarks, starting and finishing on College Green and you can get the whole family involved with the Junior & Mini Great Bristol Run. There’s a Mini (ages 3-8) 1.5K dash and a Junior (9-15) 2.5K challenge, offering something for all ages.

This is an event with an incredible atmosphere as part of the iconic Great Bristol Run weekend. You can expect fancy dress, high-fives, and lots of local support from the local Bristol crowd and junior runners will be rewarded with a shiny new medal as they cross the finish line on Super Saturday.
