Things will be looking much brighter in November...
It seems as if everything is 'super' these days. We think you'll be super-excited and super-happy to hear that Supernova London 5K by GSi Events returns to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Saturday, 22 November 2025!
The time to brighten up your running is 6:00pm – sunset in Stratford on 22 November will be at 4:00pm – when a 'flash mob' of a thousand brightly clad and head-torch illuminated runners will follow in the footsteps of Olympians in a 5K race like no other.
Starting and finishing in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the route weaves past the towering ArcelorMittal Orbit, the vibrant Stratford Waterfront, the striking London Aquatics Centre, and the world-famous London Olympic Stadium. It’s a unique opportunity to experience these fantastic Olympic venues in a new light!
Open to all ages and abilities, this glowing 5K is as much about the atmosphere and fun as fitness. Supernova London 5K invites everyone, whether you’re lacing up for your first 5K run, looking for a different family night out, or a seasoned runner chasing a PB in a spectacular new setting. Children under five can join in for free, making it the perfect way to get the whole family moving together.
Participants are encouraged to wear their brightest and boldest outfits, adding to the magic by transforming the park into a sea of colour and light. Imagine a thousand people dressed in sparkly neon costumes, with glowing accessories, lighting up the pathways. It’s an experience not to be missed. So, gather your friends, bring the kids, and get ready to light up London in the most memorable way.
Every runner will receive an LED head torch, Supernova buff, finisher's medal, drawstring bag, personalised event number, accurate chip timing, event baggage facilities, hydration at the finish, results posted in their account within 48 hours, plus the fantastic Supernova running experience – all for the standard entry fee from £24.75.
