The Stornoway Half Marathon & 10K is a popular island running event in the Outer Hebrides, starting and finishing beside the marina in the centre of Stornoway. The routes combine road running with runnable forest trails through the scenic Lews Castle Grounds, creating a mix of town, coastal and woodland scenery.
Part of the long running Heb Half Series, the event attracts runners from across Scotland and beyond for its welcoming atmosphere and unique island setting. The combination of varied terrain, community support and Hebridean scenery has made it one of Scotland’s best known destination road races.
