Starting on the upper prom just north from the Beach Leisure Centre the race first heads south until the turn at Footdee (Fittie to locals) where the course drops onto the lower prom and heads north all the way to the finish just north of the Beach Leisure Centre.
It is a fast and flat course but can be affected by wind!
