Route Zero is a navigation based endurance running challenge where participants are transported from event base and dropped at an unknown location before making their way back on foot. With phones sealed away and no maps or GPS allowed, runners must rely on navigation skills, decision making and endurance to complete the challenge.
The event can be entered individually or as a team, creating a varied running experience that combines distance running with problem solving and route planning. The format focuses on self navigation, strategy and resilience rather than following a marked course.
