Runners in the 22nd annual Pride Run 10K brightened up a dull day in London's Victoria Park on Saturday, 20 September 2025. The colourful field of 807 participants enjoyed a flat, three-lap course in the beautiful green space, also known as the People's Park, a 10-minute walk from Hackney Wick overground station.

The not-for-profit Pride Run 10K is organised by volunteers from London Frontrunners, an inclusive running club for lesbians, gay and bisexual men and women, transgender and gay-friendly people. London Frontrunners, formed in 1995 and now with a membership of over 600, is part of International Front Runners, a worldwide network of LGBT running clubs.

Pride Run 10K always raises funds for charity. This year's lead charity partner was Micro Rainbow International Foundation, working globally to help lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people achieve their full potential in life.

Conditions were good for running and the fast course generally yields good times throughout the field. This year, all 807 runners finished inside two hours, and more than 600 beat 60 minutes. The host club cheered a victory for London Frontrunners' Jacek Skryzalin (33:28) from Sam Brooks (Brighton & Hove Frontrunners, 34:23) and Andrew Doyle (London Frontrunners, 35:00), all in personal best times.

The top three women were Alex Maher (Ful-On Tri Club, 39:14), Eva Shoemark (Bourton Roadrunners Club, 39:37 PB) and Jessica Spivey (Ful-On Tri Club, 40:24).

Victoria Park in Tower Hamlets is one of London's most visited green spaces, with an estimated nine million visitors annually. And with the racing done, it was off to celebrate at the Pride Run Afterparty at The People's Tavern on Victoria Park Road.
