Norman Cole Penistone 10K
Penistone 10K (formerly the Penistone Show 10K) was established over 30 years ago and is run under UK Athletics rules on roads and the Trans-Pennine Trail (asphalt surface) around Penistone.

From 2022 the race has been named after Norman Cole. Norman was one of the founder members of Penistone Footpath Runners and ran in many races over the years. He was always supportive of other members and was well respected within the South Yorkshire running community. He held many club records over the years as he moved up the age groups and set the standard for others to beat. Norman died in 2019.
