The Knaresborough Running Festival offers distances for every runner – choose from a 10k (ish), Half Marathon, 20 Miler, Full Marathon or Ultra Marathon.
The route is based on a 6.5-mile trail course, with runners completing a set number of laps depending on their chosen distance. Starting from the centre of Knaresborough, the course climbs gently through beautiful parkland and continues along the old railway track between Knaresborough and Harrogate. Expect breathtaking countryside views, historic Yorkshire charm, and a friendly race atmosphere.
Please note this event does not start/finish/or register at Mother Shiptons Cave. Clear maps will be sent to everyone with regards to parking, start/finish/registration 7 days prior to the event.
