The Lichfield Santa Hat Dash will return to Stowe Pool on 14 December, promising to be the cathedral city’s biggest and most heartwarming festive event yet. Participants are invited to walk, skip or dash their way through the heart of Lichfield while celebrating Christmas cheer.

This year’s event will feature a special celebrity guest as CBeebies presenter Gysai Sheppy officially opens the Santa Dash. Sheppy will also be signing copies of his new children’s book But Dancing is for Girls, adding extra excitement for families and young fans attending the event.

Everyone taking part will receive a Santa hat to wear on the day. In the spirit of giving, organisers are encouraging participants to bring along a woolly hat, scarf or gloves to donate. All items collected will be distributed to Crisis and local projects that support people and families experiencing disadvantage or homelessness in the community this Christmas.

The 2024 Santa Hat Dash saw 250 Santas take to the streets, and organisers are hoping to match or exceed that number this December. With festive fun, famous faces and a focus on kindness, the 2025 Lichfield Santa Hat Dash looks set to be the perfect way to kick of this year's festivities.
