They are Kew-ing to sign up for this one
Brand new timeoutdoors Kew The Run is almost full
There are just a handful of numbers left for the inaugural Kew The Run Half Marathon and Kew The Run 10K is 95% full, so you'll have to be quick if you want to be part of South West London's brand new event on the pre-Easter weekend of 9-10 April 2022.
timeoutdoors.com are headline sponsors of Kew The Run, bringing this opportunity to run 10K or a Half Marathon at the world heritage site Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew. This new spring event is inspired by the Tokyo Olympic Marathon trials; organised by the experienced Richmond RUNFEST team and supported by timeoutdoors.com, who promote literally 1000's of active events across the UK.
Both runs start inside Kew Gardens with the 10K course staying within the gardens and the half marathon taking a scenic tour of leafy Richmond via the meandering River Thames path and Ham House. Both runs are perfect for everyone from beginners to the elite and PB hunters of all standards with flat, scenic routes culminating at the iconic finish line in Kew Gardens.
Every runner gets a fantastic medal and female and male cut technical running t-shirt (Kew-Tees according to the organisers) and can celebrate their success with family and friends who get free entry to Kew Gardens, with its fabulous kid's playground.
Supporting the main events is Kew the Mile on Sunday morning with a last-minute £5 discount using code KEWMILE5 on payment. Entries for all events will close on Monday 4th April.
Tom Bedford, Race Director said: "We are very excited to welcome timeoutdoors.com to this inaugural event at Kew. With over 20 years of experience in the events sector, they bring a wealth of knowledge about promoting events, combined with a massive audience of people looking to take part - every race director's dream.”
Andrew Risbey, timeoutdoors.com founder added: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Kew The Run 2022, which fits very well with our aim to get people active outdoors and our work with the charities involved in the event. The event has certainly struck a chord with our audience – it's the most popular run on the site in 2022 – and we look forward to joining the thousands of runners on the start line in April.”
