Turkey Trot invites you to enjoy a relaxed run through the Suffolk countryside in celebration of Thanksgiving. This is a six-hour event starting at 9 am, giving you the freedom to run as far as you can within the time available.

The course is a 10.5K loop featuring a mix of road and trail terrain, and the event is planned to follow the Back Quack route. You can complete as many or as few laps as you like, with the option to rest between laps before heading out again.

Whether you are taking on your first official 5K, 10K, half marathon, full marathon, or ultra marathon, or adding to an already impressive tally, this event caters to all levels. It is particularly well suited to those aiming to achieve a marathon distance or push beyond, with a flexible and supportive format.

Parking is included in your entry, and on arrival a marshal will be available in the car park to assist and guide you towards the venue. From there, you will proceed to the registration area to collect your bib number.

A baggage area will be available in a hut near the start, although items are left at your own risk and valuables should not be stored there. The race headquarters and base camp are located at the start and lap point, where a water and aid station will be set up. The race director will gather participants at the start line for a mass start.

The terrain includes both road and trail sections. Road trainers are generally suitable, although trail shoes may be beneficial depending on the weather leading up to the event.

All finishers will receive a bespoke medal at the end of the race. If the finisher medal option has been selected, a standard finisher medal will be provided instead. Please note that this is a cupless event, so all participants should bring their own bottles or cups for refilling refreshments.
