Beautiful setting for the Park Hall 5 mile trail race

Put the Park Hall 5 to the test

Run around a National Nature Reserve and receive a memento at this new trail race.

Gold Events have launched the Park Hall 5 – a new local trail race on Wednesday 5 April at a popular location which is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest. They hope there is plenty of interest in the off-road 5 miler as a challenge in itself or as a warm up for a series of spring and summer trail races.

Park Hall Country Park at Weston Coyney, Stoke-on-Trent is the venue for this new event which takes runners around a disused gravel quarry in a visually pleasing setting. Runners will complete two laps around the top and middle loops and one lap of the bottom loop that will test their fitness and stamina levels and they may have to dig deep at times!

(Those who take part in the North Staffs Cross Country League races will be familiar with Park Hall which is one of its fixtures.)

There'll be prizes for the first, second and third male and female; male and female age group winners and all finishers will be presented with a Gold Events buff and a printout of their results plus a free e-certificate.

This is one of 8 races/challenges from Gold Events, the others a trail marathon, triathlon/aquathlon, trail ultra, community 5K, cycle sportive, fast 5K run and a cross-country 10K/5K.

Complete 5 out of the 8 and be rewarded with a bespoke hoody.

Note: Gold Events have offered a £5 discount off the entry fee to the Park Hall 5. Type FEBOFFER to claim this offer which is valid only until 5 March.
