Grab A Last Minute Spot At Glasgow's Greatest
Final 10K places left as Glasgow gears up for biggest ever Great Scottish Run...
Thousands of runners will descend on Glasgow this weekend for the AJ Bell Great Scottish Run, with the city preparing to host its biggest edition yet. From the electric start line atmosphere in George Square to the music and entertainment along the course and the triumphant finish on Glasgow Green, the weekend promises to be a true celebration of running and community spirit.
The half marathon has already sold out, with a record field signed up, but there is still a chance to be part of the action. At the time of writing, fewer than 200 entries remain for the 10K. Organisers are urging anyone still considering it to sign up quickly to secure a place.
The 10K route is fast, flat and packed with Glasgow landmarks, making it ideal for those chasing a personal best or taking part simply for the experience. Runners will enjoy the same atmosphere and support from the crowds as the half marathoners, before sharing the same iconic finish line.
This year’s event marks the biggest Great Scottish Run in history, with thousands of participants, volunteers and spectators expected to turn out. Whether it is a first big challenge or one of many, everyone on the start line will play a part in making it an unforgettable occasion.
We'd like to wish every participant the very best of luck as they take on their challenge, whether you’ve been preparing for months or lacing up for your first big event, you’ll be part of something truly special: the biggest ever Great Scottish Run weekend.
Entries for the 10K are expected to sell out imminently. To secure one of the final places, visit the AJ Bell Great Scottish Run website.
