Glasgow is set for a day of high-speed racing when Formula Run comes to the city’s East End on 1 November, offering runners the chance to chase personal bests on what promises to be the fastest course in town.

The event unfolds on a flat, lightning-quick 1K loop directly in front of the Emirates Arena, with pacers in every race to keep runners locked into their target times. Designed for both entry-level and experienced athletes, the graded 5K races cater for a wide range of goals, from sub-30 to sub-20 finishes.

Those targeting sub-20 minutes can expect fierce competition in two back-to-back heats, with the quickest qualifying for the day’s showpiece - the 3K Super Final. This head-to-head battle will see the fastest athletes fight for victory and a cash prize in front of a packed, energetic crowd.

Adding to the excitement, the event will also feature a 4x1K mixed relay, where teams of four will compete for bragging rights and the winner’s prize.
