The Clacton Half Marathon is organised by Nice Work Race Management in partnership with Clacton Carnival. Alongside the Half Marathon, the event also includes a 10K and Junior Fun Run, attracting runners of all abilities to one of Essex's most popular seaside races.
Both the Half Marathon and 10K follow accurately measured routes along Clacton's upper and lower promenades, with panoramic sea views throughout. The 10K completes a single lap while the Half Marathon covers two laps of the predominantly flat tarmac course, which includes only gentle undulations and offers excellent potential for first time finishers and personal best performances.
A bespoke finisher medal, free race photography, enthusiastic marshal support and a friendly coastal atmosphere help create a memorable race day experience. With its scenic seafront setting, well established organisation and choice of distances for adults and juniors, the Clacton Half Marathon has become a popular fixture in the summer running calendar.
