The race starts in Cambus village and does an anti-clockwise loop along the trail banks of the Forth around farmland before returning to the start on tarmac path where you will again pass through the village. There will be a water station with biodegradable cups available at this point. The route continues on a clockwise loop past Cambus Pools Nature Reserve, through Blackgrange, past Diageo and across the level crossing before heading back to the finish line along the old A907 and Cambus Cycle Path. The route is flat and a mixture of road and trail (road shoes would probably be best suited unless it's been really wet).
