Born Survivor

Down & Dirty In The Dales

Take on the world's fastest OCR slide at this Ribble Valley mud-fest...

The Born Survivor challenge is all set to test runners in the rugged Ribble Valley on 14 September this year. Those taking part will battle their way through a mud-fuelled assault course overlooking the Yorkshire Dales.

Organisers say: "Expect the unexpected as you negotiate 30 obstacles including epic slides, giant A-frames, ice baths, river crossings, mud baths, height agility, crawling trenches, partially submerged tunnels and beast walls finishing with our legendary Blitz Wall.

"Our torpedo slide reaches speeds in excess of 30mph as it launches down a 60m runway to 4ft of icy river water - don’t be surprised to spot deer and leaping salmon as you negotiate this truly wild adventure! Get the picture soldier?"

There is the 6K Rookie Adventure, 10K Classic Survivor and 10K Elite Squadron to choose from. The Rookie Adventure offer 6K of the muddiest rolling terrain reinforced with a whopping 20 military grade obstacles. Perfect for beginners with more obstacles and less running. If you are new to obstacle courses then this is a great way to literally test the water.

The 10K Classic is the ultimate military obstacle course where runners will pitch themselves against 30+ obstacles along 10K of hand-picked terrain.

Both distances are best enjoyed as part of a team, so grab a buddy and let the battle commence. If you make it to the finish you can bask in your glory at the buzzing event village.

Spectators can enjoy the family friendly event, experiencing the Born Survivor atmosphere, cheering at The Blitz finale and capturing great photos before enjoying a drink at the Born Survivor Bar.
